Fotovive restores the photographs you send, sets them in motion, and edits them into a short film with music and titles.
The result is a digital video file (MP4) delivered by download link.
Submitting the form is not a contract — it starts a conversation. The contract takes effect once we have agreed the scope and you have approved the invoice.
We invoice after the scope is agreed. Work begins once payment is received.
You can send the photographs digitally (WeTransfer, Google Drive or similar), or post us the originals by courier if scanning isn't practical.
If you send originals, we photograph them and return them by courier. With the Premium Film package the courier is included both ways; for the other packages we arrange it separately.
We handle originals carefully, but we cannot accept liability for damage that occurs in transit with the courier. If a photograph is especially fragile or the only copy in existence, we recommend photographing it and sending it digitally.
The standard turnaround is 2 weeks from receiving both the photographs and payment.
Rush delivery is 2 working days at 1.5× the price, where we have confirmed a slot is free.
There is no cap on revisions. A revision means changes to the edit, order, music or titles, and we make them at no extra cost until you are happy.
If the work still does not match what was agreed after those revisions, we refund the amount paid.
Increasing the scope after work has started (more photographs than the package covers) is agreed and charged separately — that is not a revision.
A Fotovive film is made individually from your materials and instructions. Under EU distance-selling rules, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.
This does not affect your rights if the work does not match what was agreed — in that case we will correct it or refund you.
By sending photographs you confirm that you have the right to use them and pass them for processing.
We do not process material with unlawful content.
The finished film is yours. You may show, share and keep it without restriction.
We will only use your work in our public samples with your separate written consent.
Note that background music may be copyrighted — if you post the film on social media, the platform may restrict it. On request we can use music free of copyright restrictions.
We are responsible for the quality of the work against the agreed scope. Our liability does not exceed the amount paid for the order.
Your original photographs stay with you — we work from copies, so your materials cannot be damaged.
Latvian law applies. We try to settle any dispute by talking first.
